The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and minimizing risks within our construction sites. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant standards. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety practices into construction management processes. Provide training and resources to employees on occupational health, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures. Monitor workers’ compensation claims and develop strategies to reduce incidents and improve workplace safety. Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance documentation for reporting purposes. Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and concerns on construction sites. Build strong relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure ongoing compliance with EHS standards. Skills Proven expertise in risk management, particularly within the construction industry. Knowledge of EHS regulations, compliance management, and OSHA standards. Familiarity with construction management software to track safety metrics and incidents effectively. Experience in managing workers’ compensation processes and understanding of related legislation. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey safety information across all levels of the organization. Ability to analyze data related to occupational health and develop actionable strategies for improvement. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and documentation related to safety practices.
Requirements:
OSHA 501
