ClientDetails We are currently partnered up with a large GlobalIndustrial Manufacturing Company in their search to add a SafetyManager to the team due to growth. This role will report up intothe Director based out of the UK and will work cross functionallywith EHS Site leaders while traveling 60-75% of the time for thefirst few years. The ideal candidate will have 5 years ofexperience within a global safety role and has experienceimplementing EHS policies and procedures.   • Industrial Manufacturingrole based North of Charleston, SC. Description The Safety Manager
  • Industrial Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:

Develop and implement a global safety management strategy alignedwith corporate goals. Establish standard safety operatingprocedures (SOPs) for manufacturing sites worldwide. Ensure allsites are compliant with local, regional, and international safetyregulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001). Conduct global riskassessments and audits; lead corrective and preventive actions(CAPA). Lead initiatives in hazard identification, risk mitigation,ergonomics, machine guarding, lockout/tagout, and confined spaceentry. Drive near-miss reporting, incident investigation, and rootcause analysis with site teams. Develop and oversee global safetytraining programs, including onboarding and refresher courses.

Promote a proactive safety culture by engaging with employees atall levels. Develop and track key safety performance indicators(KPIs) and metrics across all sites. Prepare regular reports forexecutive leadership and board review. Support and mentorregional/site safety managers. Foster collaboration between EHS,HR, Engineering, and Operations. Standardize global emergencyresponse and crisis management plans Profile The ideal SafetyManager

  • Industrial Manufacturing will have the followingqualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety,Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’spreferred) Minimum 5 years of progressive safety experience in amanufacturing or industrial environment Minimum 5 years in aregional or global safety leadership role Strong knowledge ofinternational EHS standards and regulatory frameworks CSP, CIH, orNEBOSH certification (preferred) Strong soft skills, especially incommunication and assertiveness Able to set boundaries and leadsafety culture initiatives effectively.
