Bethune, SC Plant Safety and Environmental Manager Location:
Bethune, SC Responsible for leading the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program and management systems, with a heavy focus on safety, for a production plant with approximately 400 employees. Manages EHS activities using an ISO based platform, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining EHS metrics, recordkeeping, and communicating effectively with plant personnel. Represents the site in safety leadership councils and collaborates closely with the corporate EHS team to drive continuous improvement. Enhances programs related to ergonomics, machine guarding, training initiatives, and other related management systems. This position requires hands-on involvement in plant operations, building strong relationships with employees at all levels, and maintaining a visible presence on the plant floor. Qualified candidates must have at least 5 years of industrial experience and a degree in a related technical field. They should possess strong coaching abilities to motivate employees and instill a sense of accountability.
