This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing cleaning and sanitization procedures, as well as training and supervising sanitation personnel.

Schedule:

2nd Shift – 5 days on 2 days off(Saturday off)

Responsibilities:

Planning and Implementation:

Develop and implement sanitation programs, policies, and processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., FSMA, HACCP, GMP).

Supervision and Training:

Supervise sanitation crews, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure adherence to established procedures and safety protocols.

Inspection and Monitoring:

Conduct regular inspections of the facility and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure cleanliness standards are met.

Problem Solving:

Analyze sanitation issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate sanitation records, including cleaning logs, audit reports, and corrective action records.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and other relevant areas.

Inventory Management:

Manage sanitation chemical supplies and inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage. Compliance with

Regulations:

Stay informed about and ensure compliance with all applicable food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Continuous Improvement:

Review current sanitation procedures, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices and new cleaning technologies. Qualifications Proven experience in industrial cleaning, custodial work, or commercial cleaning environments. Familiarity with food production or food processing standards is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Knowledge of safety regulations related to sanitation practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with cleaning operations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and other departments.
