Environmental Health and Safety Manager 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Newberry, SC 29108 Main role: Responsible for developing, planning, coordinating and directing environmental and health/safety activities Specific job responsibilities: Ø Organize safety meeting for associates on the floor. Ø Do safety checkup for whole plant. Ø Implement EHS audit regarding comprehensive environmental, health and safety issues. Ø Conduct incident and accident investigation and root-cause analysis reporting. Ø Communicate with external safety inspectors on corrective and preventive actions. Ø File OSHA 300Log in terms of all reportable injury cases. Ø Maintain up to date Safety data sheets (SDS). Ø Respond to survey requests (CSR from Korea HQ, injury cases from OSHA & Department of Labor, and recycling from DHEC). Ø Report the status of hazardous materials (Tier-II) and release of toxic chemicals (Form-R) to federal agency. Ø Evaluate EHS regulatory compliance. Ø Renew and maintain Air and Stormwater permit/certificate through DHEC. Ø Follow up EHS contractor’s activities in regard to sampling, monitoring and analysis reporting. Ø Acquire and maintain
