Duties Help This position is loced in the Army Nional Guard (ARNG) Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ)/Ste, Territory, and District of Columbia Safety and Occupional Health Office. The primary purpose is to perform work in a broad range of air and ground safety; as well as, explosive and range safety, weapons safety program elements, such as inspections, surveys, evaluions, mishap investigions and safety training. GENERAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

: Performed, as a team member, specified survey work to identify and evalue hazardous and nonhazardous work and conditions. Applied conventional survey techniques to complete relively uncompliced evaluions. Made recommendions concerning corrective procedures where the potential for injury or property damage exists or current procedures do not achieve the desired results or modify/cancel the corrective procedures are no longer approprie for situions encountered.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

: 1 year equivalent to least next lower grade level experience, educion, or training performing industrial construction standards, methods, practices, techniques, merials, equipment, and utility systems sufficient to determine compliance with building safety standards and devise hazard control measures applicable to airport ground facilities and supporting industrial shops.

1. Must be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of Secret, or approprie security clearance of the position. 2. May be required to travel by car, in military and/or commercial aircraft, and by other means of transportion as approprie to perform temporary duty assignments 3. Incumbent is required to obtain and maintain (a) The Army Professional Certifice in Safety and Occupional Health (PCSOH), (b) The Army Professional Certifice in Explosives Safety Level 1 (PCES1), and if responsible for the management of a Ste Explosives Safety Management Plan IAW AR 385-10, acquisition of (c) The Army Professional Certifice in Explosives Safety Level 2 (PCES2). 6. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this positions. 7. This is a Testing Designed Position (TDP). The employee is subject to random drug testing. Pre-employment drug testing and participion in random drug testing is a condition of employment.
