Job Overview:

This classification has a considerable workload functioning at the highest level of program supervision in a field/regional office. An employee in this class must be able to work independently with minimal supervision on assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and direct all functions of program area (Child Programs, Child Safety, Juvenile Justice) within the assigned geographical region. Overall supervision of front-line and managerial program staff within the assigned geographical region. Build and maintain relationships with community partners and courts within assigned geographic region. Review complaints and concerns within assigned area and provide feedback, engage staff and clients to resolve barriers or issues. Partner with other leaders to share information, move tasks forward, and improve overall practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a social services related field, master’s degree preferred. A minimum of five to seven years experience in social services or child welfare. A minimum of two to three years of supervisory experience.
