Position Summary:
Coordinates implementation of the Team Training Program, TeamSTEPPS in the organization. Responsible for the development, implementation, effectiveness, sustainability, and success of the program. Supports and assists the Patient Safety Manager with daily operation of the overall hospital Patient Safety Program. Collaborates in activities of hospital-wide patient safety program. Facilitates investigation of events, complaints, and near
- misses as directed by the Patient Safety Manager.
Acts as a resource for team members for accreditation and patient safety concerns.
Position Qualification:
Bachelors degree or higher preferred
- Minimum experience of 2-5 years as practicing nurse or other health care professional in hospital environment (academic setting helpful).
- Experience in educating adults.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Evidence of effective team leadership skills.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Years of Experience can be related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
