HSE Manager/HR 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Spring Hill, TN 37174 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Environmental Health Officer/HR to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with environmental health regulations and promoting safe practices within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental health standards, be skilled in root cause analysis, and demonstrate expertise in occupational health and safety protocols.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and safety inspections. Lead incident investigations and maintain records of workplace injuries/illnesses. Deliver HSE training and ensure staff are informed of safety protocols. Monitor compliance with legal and internal safety standards. Liaise with government bodies for HSE-related reporting and inspections. Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness. Human Resources (HR): Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding of employees. Maintain employee records and HRIS databases. Coordinate training and development programs. Provide guidance on HR policies, labor law compliance, and disciplinary procedures. Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives. Handle confidential employee matters and grievance processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
Preferred Experience:
2-5 years in a combined HSE/HR or similar role. Certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, or
OSHA 1910,1904
are highly preferred. Familiarity with labor laws and HSE regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
