Job Description:

My Fleet AI is seeking a Fleet Safety Specialist. The primary responsibility of this role is to resolve Hours-of-Service issues, manage accident reporting, and maintain driver qualification compliance for multiple operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety and Compliance:

Respond to and manage accidents, ensuring proper procedures are followed. Oversee hours of service and maintenance compliance. Ensure all electronic logging devices (ELDs) and Video Event Data Recorders (VEDRs) are properly managed and maintained. Stay up-to-date with FMCSA trucking regulations and ensure compliance. Act as the main contact for commercial truck drivers and managers, efficiently handling calls navigating multiple systems and inquiries to provide timely assistance. Maintain detailed records of issues and resolutions, improving case management, reporting accuracy, and data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a unified approach to safety and compliance.

Desired Skills:

In-depth knowledge of FMCSA trucking regulations. Experience managing electronic logging devices (ELDs) and VEDR devices. Strong understanding of accident response procedures. Call center experience is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in DOT enforcement, claims personnel in commercial auto liability claims, or as a safety director for a trucking company.

Training and Certification:

The desired candidate will receive training and become a Certified Safety Director through the company’s training program.

Schedule:

This position will work Saturday – Tuesday, 2pm – 1am (with hour lunch)
