Reports results of safety inspections and audits to Safety Manager. Monitors work practices and procedures for compliance with health and safety requirements. Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems. Facilitates productive discussions among employees and management relative to safe workplace practices. Serves as a source of information on health and safety rules and regulations. Requests and collects employee feedback and suggestions on safety procedures. Distribute and post health and safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned incidental to health and safety activities. Knowledge Required Familiar with safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. Education & Work Experience Associate’s degree in Health and Safety or other EHS related field or equivalent work experience in the EHS field (required). Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety or other EHS related field (preferred). Prior experience in a heavy manufacturing environment (required). Previous experience in EHS Field (required).
