Complete layout, fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance of fixed fire protection systems. Follow manufacturer instructions, codes/standards, and Company policies. Interpret blueprints for proper system installation, repair, and maintenance. Verify and select materials according to job specifications, tracking and communicating material needs. Organize and prepare materials and equipment for job sites. Identify and communicate necessary changes to proposed work to Field Supervisor. Plan installation/repair sequence to minimize impact on customer activities. Cut, thread, and bend pipes, joining and securing them using proper standards and techniques. Maintain clean and neat job sites. Uphold Eagle Fire’s reputation in all transactions. Commit to working until obligations are met, potentially involving overtime. Complete continuing education for required certifications/licenses. Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Self-starter, able to work independently 2+ years of industry experience in fire sprinkler installation and maintenance, focusing on rough-ins, head changes, and line installations. Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and design specifications. Experience with trade tools and equipment such as pipe threader and groover. Able to meet state licensing requirements and/or vendor certifications. Fire Sprinkler Manufacturers Certifications. NICET certification. Practical knowledge of fire protection codes and standards. Excellent customer service skills. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for the last 5 years. Ability to stand for long periods, lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pull. Willingness to travel and stay out of town as needed. Comfortable working in various temperature conditions and exposure to loud sounds. Fluent in English with effective communication skills.
