Safety Specialist Position Available In South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut

• Safety Specialist
• to support and enhance our safety culture. In this role, you’ll be responsible for implementing safety training programs, inspecting facilities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. • What You’ll Do
• + Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs for employees.

+ Create and distribute educational materials on accident prevention and safety procedures. + Conduct facility inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. + Maintain accurate records of training sessions, incidents, and safety audits. + Collaborate with supervisors and team leads to reinforce safety best practices.

• What You Bring

• Top Must-Have Skills:

• + Ability to work independently and take initiative + Strong background in workplace safety and compliance + Excellent communication skills, especially in delivering training + Exceptional organizational and documentation abilities

• Qualifications:

• + Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred) + 0-2 years of experience in safety, training, or a related area + Familiarity with standard safety practices and regulatory requirements + Ability to follow established guidelines and work under supervision
