Job Locations Multiple Overview Jadin Tech is looking for a Launch Systems Safety Analyst in Los Angeles CA, Colorado Springs, CO, Cape Canaveral FL and Vandenberg Air Force Base CA.

Summary:

Launch Systems Safety Analysts (LGESSs) provide System Safety technical support to assigned Space Vehicle Programs and NRO projects in compliance with Air Force Requirements and NRO Corporate Policies. LGESS contractors shall possess at least the General Level III (G3). The following additional qualifications are desired: State-registered Professional Engineer (PE) is highly desirable. Level I and II Fire Inspector rating from an accredited training center. Design, test and evaluation, or operational experience in at least three of the following fields: Energetic Materials (Explosives, Munitions, or Pyrotechnics), Cryogenics, Toxic Materials (e.g., Hypergolic Propellants), High Pressure systems (Hydraulic or Pneumatic), Radiation Source (ionizing or non-ionizing), High Energy Power field (Turbine (Gas, Liquid, Steam), Rocket (Liquid, Solid, Ion), etc.) Specific certification in the following: Radiation Safety Officer, Laser Safety Officer, Weapons Safety Officer, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist, or Disaster Preparedness. Responsibilities & Experience in

Safety Support:

Provide a technical engineering base for Safety Review Team (SRT) Perform System Engineering and Safety evaluation and monitoring of assigned programs, equipment, tasks, and operations. Perform technical evaluation of SV program safety documentation (Safety Assessment Reports, Hazard Reports, Procedures, Interface Control Documents, Transportation Plans, etc.); in addition, provide comments to the program, and/or SRT, and/or Space Wing Range Safety Office. Perform pre-hazardous operations Safety walk-downs and inspections of identified areas and/or facilities. Support all hazardous operations affecting assigned Program SV pre-launch processing. Perform safety reviews and evaluations of OSL support contractors and OSL subcontractors’ interface and support to Space Vehicle (SV) pre-launch processing activities. Coordinate interface between 45th/30th SW Space Range Safety and assigned SV Programs. Support any accident investigation of personnel and/or equipment accidents and near misses related to assigned SV Programs. Support program status meetings (GOWG, SSWG, GORR, etc.) as required. Provide support to various meetings on facility modifications, subcontractor work tasks, program prelaunch operations and reviews, etc., for impacts to assigned SV Programs Perform and/or manage the creation and update of required safety documentation for assigned SV programs B.

Ground Operations Safety Support:

Perform on-site Fire Inspections of identified facilities Perform on-site Safety walk-downs and inspections of identified facilities and operations Perform safety monitoring of assigned tasks and operations Provide support to the various Air Force safety/environment inspections (ESOHCAMP, SPCC, State, and County, etc.) Perform safety reviews and evaluations of the OSL support contractor (PLSSS) and other subcontractor safety programs (i.e., lock-out/tag-out, fall protection, PPE, confined space, etc.) Provide support to various meetings on facility modifications, subcontractor work tasks, program prelaunch operations and reviews, etc. Perform and/or manage the creation and update of required safety documentation Generate Hot Work Permits as required and audit as necessary Act as POC to various Air Force Base organizations on safety issues Act as POC to
