Jacksonville, FL Position Description You will serve as a
SAFETY & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST
in the
SAFETY & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH DIV, COMPLIANCE & QUALITY DEPT
of
FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
You will adapt analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to the measurement and improvement of safety program effectives or organizational productivity.
You will conduct investigations and inspections of ionizing radiation (x-ray vaults) and non-ionizing radiation to evaluate if corrective measures are required.
You will review investigations to determine the root cause and determining factors.
You will resolve technical matters dealing with occupational safety and health requirements using safety and occupational health laws, regulations, principles, theories, practices, and procedures.
You will evaluate a broad range of work processes, equipment operations, and protective devices to minimize injuries.
