Your Role at Acousti The Field Safety Coordinator supports Acousti’s safety programs across large-scale construction projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations and best practices. This role is instrumental in maintaining a safe working environment for employees and subcontractors and in promoting a strong safety culture on-site. The ideal candidate is an experienced safety professional with strong field knowledge in drywall, framing, and ACT installations, capable of effectively leading safety initiatives on active job sites. Responsibilities In this role, you will: Monitor day-to-day safety performance on large-scale project sites Perform routine site safety inspections and enforce corrective actions as needed Develop and support implementation of Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs), JSAs, and pre-task planning Conduct safety stand-down meetings and toolbox talks in coordination with site leadership Mentor field staff and subcontractors on safety best practices and compliance Ensure use and inspection of fall protection, scaffolding, lifts (scissor/aerial boom), and forklifts Assist in incident reporting, investigation, and corrective action planning Deliver field-level safety training and leadership sessions Maintain accurate records of training, inspections, and incident logs Promote bilingual safety communication when applicable What We’re Looking for in You To succeed in this role, you should have: 3-5 years of experience in construction safety, preferably on large-scale projects Knowledge of drywall, framing, and acoustical ceiling tile (ACT) operations Experience working with subcontractors on active construction sites

BCSP STSC

certification or greater (required)

OSHA 510

certification (required) Strong understanding of safety regulations, site planning, and hazard prevention First Aid, CPR, and AED Certified (Trainer preferred) Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Strong communication, observation, and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications Safety Trainer credentials from a recognized institution Familiarity with safety compliance tracking systems Experience delivering bilingual safety presentations Why Join Acousti?
