Description:
Reimbursement Specialist coordinates reimbursement of pharmaceuticals in the patient assistance program, while supporting the organization objectives of quality customer service. Coordinate and process necessary documentation to provide indigent and needy patients medically necessary medication at no cost. Including, but not limited to, request, completion and submission of required forms from various pharmaceutical companies. Conduct necessary research to determine eligibility requirements of most pharmaceutical products. Analyze multiple reports to assess each patient for eligibility. Physical research of specific medications and dosage administered or related to dialysis. Establish and maintain liaison relations with pharmaceutical manufacturers and vendor representatives for continuous customer service and follow up. Estimated pay range for this position is $22.20 – $28.86 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Degrees:
High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
Licenses & Certifications:
PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician. Registered Pharmacy Technician.
Additional Qualifications:
This role requires critical thinking skills, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The incumbent must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action when required.
