As our Public Health Specialist, you will be a part of ourexciting, high-volume shipboard operation team. The Public Health &Safety Specialist is responsible for coordinating the execution ofthe company?s Public Health Program and ensuring the company?spublic health standards are met and/or exceeded onboard.

Career snapshot:

• The areas included in the scope of the program include, but arenot limited to, Food Safety, Water Safety (Potable and Recreationalwater systems), Integrated Pest Management, Outbreak Prevention andRegulatory Compliance.
• Coordinates with all divisions that perform public health relatedfunctions to ensure adherence with the highest operationalstandards of public health and compliance with company?s publichealth policies as stated in SQM, SOPs, etc
• Ensures company policy meets and/or exceeds regulations andrequirements set forth by Public Health Regulatory Agenciesworld-wide including USPH-VSP, ShipSan, ANVISA, etc.
• As directed by the Staff Captain, assists in all accident andinvestigation procedures
• Conducts periodic public health inspections, provides guidanceand support for all public health related issues and assists in thetimely follow up and implementation of corrective action forinternal and external inspections
• Organizes and delivers public health training to shipboard staff(class room style), ensuring awareness of all OPP protocols, publichealth standards, regulations and policies.

Also, periodicallyverifies OPP Par levels.
