Safety Consultant 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 Our Client, is looking for a construction Safety Consultant to join their team. Job at a Glance This is a long-term contract, with an initial term of 18 months, planned for extension and/or permanent placement This role is fully onsite in Lake Buena Vista, FL Schedule will be Monday – Friday. A determination will be made on if this role will work a 1st or 3rd Shift Seeking candidates with strong site construction safety management experience and possess a 4-year degree

Special Requirements:

Proof of two employer reference checks (1 at time of submission, 1 at time of interview) Responsibilities The Construction Safety positions serve as the key technical resource and are responsible for the implementation and sustainment of key safety programs for their designated businesses. Exceptional candidates will have a proven track record of independently driving above average incident reduction results achieved through the implementation of targeted safety strategies and tactics. As a member of the daytime safety consultant team, this resource will support field construction sites across hotels and other site refurbishments/upgrades. This role requires excellent time management, and the flexibility to modify one’s schedule during the workday to accommodate changing priorities. This role will be required to partner with Safety Services team members to effectively communicate safety concerns, issues, and best practices.

The role requires:

Standing and walking for 8 or more hours Working in inclement weather Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment Lifting/carrying Climbing steps, ladders, and scaffolds Qualifications Basic Qualifications –

Must Haves:

Strong OSHA knowledge Site construction safety management experience Experience managing 3rd party vendors / General Contractors Experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external parties Experience with risk assessments, safety plans, investigations, technical evaluations, and technical reviews Ability to function independently with strong communication skills to keep leadership informed of activities, issues, and concerns Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) 7-10 years of relevant experience

Required Education:
