Job Description We are hiring a Safety Consultant – Construction – for a top entertainment client in Orlando, FL!
Responsibilities:
The Construction Safety positions serve as the key technical resource and are responsible for the implementation and sustainment of key safety programs for their designated businesses.
This role will be required to partner with Safety Services Cast Members to effectively communicate safety concerns, issues, and best practices.
The role requires standing and walking for 8 or more hours; working in inclement weather; wearing appropriate personal protective equipment; lifting/carrying; climbing steps; ladders; and, scaffolds.
Required Qualifications:
Exceptional candidates will have a proven track record of independently driving above average incident reduction results achieved through the implementation of targeted safety strategies and tactics.
4 Yr. Bachelor’s Degree is required – no exceptions
Team have not solidified shifts so ensure candidates are okay with either working 1st or 3rd shift.
Must have strong OSHA knowledge, site construction safety management experience, experience managing 3rd party vendors/ General Contractors, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external parties.
Must have experience with risk assessments, safety plans, investigations, technical evaluations and technical reviews.
Functions independently and therefore must have strong communication skills to keep leadership appraised of activity, issues, and concerns.
