Job Description
Safety Coordinator American Engineering & Development Corp. Jupiter, FL 33478 Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans (SSSPs) and job hazard analyses (JHAs). Conduct daily safety walks, audits, and inspections on active construction sites. Lead and document toolbox talks and safety briefings. Monitor high-risk activities (e.g., excavation, working at heights, confined spaces, asbestos handling) for compliance with safety protocols. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and corrective action plans. Ensure all workers and subcontractors are trained and compliant with OSHA and company safety policies. Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and foremen to resolve safety issues proactively. Track and manage site PPE inventory and safety equipment. Be instrumental in promoting a safe work environment within the jobsites.
