YOUR PURPOSE HSE
Data & Systems Assistant – Part Time Responsible for working under the guidance of the HSE team to develop tools that enhance visibility and tracking of safety programs, inspections, training, and compliance metrics. The position will utilize tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Automate, Power Apps, to improve workflow, data management, and reporting across programs.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the design and maintenance of dashboards and digital tracking systems for HSE activities, including risk assessments, inspections, waste management, and training. Support the DHS team in configuring and managing SharePoint lists and libraries to organize safety documentation and process records. Leverage Power BI to build and maintain HSE performance dashboards, providing insight into leading and lagging indicators, compliance trends, and open items. Use Power Automate to streamline task tracking and notifications for audits, inspections, and permit programs (e.g., LOTO, Work Permits). Assist in reviewing and refining process documents, job hazard analyses, and safety-related checklists for consistency and accessibility. Participate in safety committee meetings and assist with related reporting and document preparation. Support employee training tracking using digital tools, including reporting completions and upcoming renewals. Maintain a collaborative and professional presence while working with both operations and technical staff. All other duties as assigned by the Manager. Education High School graduate with some college. Actively enrolled in a college program related to Environmental Health & Safety, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field a plus. Experience Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office and safety software. A minimum of two years’ experience as an Safety coordinator. Strong training abilities. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time while meeting deadlines. Interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish effective professional relationships with employees and project managers. Detailed knowledge of relevant regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and ANSI. The ability to read and interpret safety data sheets. Critical thinking, problem solving and analysis. OSHA 10 Industrial preferred. Multi-language preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, especially SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, power apps and Excel. Interest in safety, sustainability, and using digital tools to solve operational challenges.
