Job Summary In this role, you will be entrusted with developing and implementing policies or programs intended to promote employee health and safety or environmental compliance. Job Duties Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on environmental concerns or health and safety risks found in the organization. Ensure that training records, health/safety manuals or handbooks, incident/accident reports, or other documentation are appropriately maintained. Purchase and distribute personal protection equipment or other related supplies. Monitor known health, safety, or environmental hazards such as noise, air, or wastewater pollution levels. Coordinate inspection of facilities, vehicles, and equipment. May develop and communicate facility-specific emergency response or evacuation plans
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a safety-oriented warehouse environment Strong familiarity with warehouse safety principles and practices Valid driver’s license required with no more than 2 moving violations within 2-year period Computer skills Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. Ability to develop, implement, and enforce safety programs and protocols. Skill in performing safety inspections and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions. The ability to maintain a professional representation of the Company in all interactions with customers or vendors Ability to work Monday-Saturday as needed We are an E-Verify employer.
