Environmental Health and Safety Specialist Position Available In Spalding, Georgia

Environmental Health and Safety Specialist YER USA Griffin, GA 30224 For our client in Griffin, GA, are we hiring a contract-to-hire Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) professional to support safety operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for experienced EHS Managers, EHS Specialists, EHS Engineers, or Safety Technicians looking for a long-term opportunity to grow within a safety-first organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies Conduct audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions Maintain OSHA records and ensure site compliance Provide training on safety procedures and PPE usage Lead emergency response readiness and drills Track safety performance and support continuous improvement

Qualifications:

3-5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing setting Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and local compliance standards OSHA 30, CSP, or ASP certification preferred Effective communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Job Types:

Full-time, Contract Pay:

$35.00 – $40.00 per hour
