Safety Professional Safety Professional – On-Site | Greer, SC Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Safety Professional to lead and support safety and environmental initiatives at our Greer, SC facility. In this critical role, you will be responsible for implementing, administering, and enforcing safety and environmental standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) systems. You’ll play a key role in fostering a culture of safety by conducting risk assessments, leading incident investigations, and driving continuous improvement across the plant. Key Responsibilities Ensure all compliance routes and safety protocols are completed and updated regularly. Serve as a visible, hands-on HSE mentor on the shop floor. Lead HSE communications, including training sessions, safety alerts, and production reviews. Develop and deliver engaging HSE training programs. Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventative actions. Participate in and lead plant emergency response teams. Conduct hazard assessments for equipment and job functions to ensure regulatory compliance. Develop, revise, and implement plant-specific HSE policies and procedures. Lead internal safety audits and ensure alignment with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies. Review new equipment, modifications, and process changes for safety compliance. Maintain accurate documentation to meet all regulatory and company standards. Provide leadership and guidance to plant safety teams and collaborate with external agencies and consultants. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial environment Valid driver’s license Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with ISO 14001 and
ISO 45001
Safety and Environmental Management Systems Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Knowledge of Fall Protection and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures Work Environment On-site role at a 150,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility with approximately 150 associates Fast-paced, hands-on environment with opportunities for regional travel if desired Long-term career potential with a company that has a strong project pipeline and commitment to safety excellence
