Safety Officer Tony Cook Construction Rayne, LA 70578 • Hybrid work We are an oilfield construction and trucking company looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Safety Officer to join our team and help keep our business running smoothly. We’re looking for an individual with strong communication skills. Also, organization and computer skills are a must. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe work environment. Conduct training sessions on occupational health and safety practices. Perform root cause analysis for incidents and develop corrective actions. Prepare detailed reports on safety inspections and incidents. Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, and maintain certifications. Collaborate with management on workers’ compensation claims and EHS initiatives. Communicate effectively with team members to promote safety awareness. Qualifications Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and occupational health standards Experience in training and development within EHS frameworks Familiarity with workers’ compensation processes and laws Certification in first aid and CPR Proficient in report writing and root cause analysis Excellent communication and computer skills to facilitate effective training and documentation Apply in person at 402 Service Road Rayne, LA 70578
