As an HSE Advisor II, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of personnel, the protection of the environment, and the integrity of project operations. This role provides expert support to project and construction management teams in the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE programs. The HSE Advisor II will guide and promote a culture of proactive risk identification, safe work practices, and environmental stewardship—ensuring alignment with Worley’s purpose, promise, and ambition to lead in sustainability solutions. Key Responsibilities Support the safe execution of project activities by advising on health, safety, and environmental risks, mitigation strategies, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with project and construction managers to embed HSE considerations into project planning, execution, and completion. Conduct field observations, audits, and assessments to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, or non-compliance and recommend corrective actions. Promote and facilitate a safety-first culture by actively engaging with workers, supervisors, and stakeholders through training, coaching, and communications. Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of project-specific HSE procedures and initiatives. Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes, develop lessons learned, and recommend preventative strategies. Maintain accurate and timely records, reports, and documentation in accordance with project and company requirements. Support emergency preparedness planning and response activities on-site. Use digital tools and data systems to monitor performance, analyze trends, and drive improvement in HSE outcomes. Act as a resource to project teams by sharing expertise, offering technical guidance, and fostering knowledge transfer in line with Worley’s collaborative and data-centric approach. .

Qualifications / Skillset

University degree or equivalent qualification in health, safety, environmental science, or a related discipline, or comparable field experience. Broad and practical understanding of HSE principles, legislation, and best practices applicable to complex field operations. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving project needs while maintaining a strong safety and environmental focus. Experience supporting HSE programs within large-scale project environments in energy, chemicals, or resource sectors is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse teams and influence safe behaviors. Capable of exercising sound judgment, identifying emerging issues, and contributing solutions in dynamic environments. Competency in using HSE systems, digital platforms, and data tools for reporting, analysis, and program tracking. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and supporting a culture of sustainable and responsible project delivery. Additional Information
