EHS Technician Position Available In Norfolk, Massachusetts

Job Description:

DIRECT HIRE POSITION SUMMARY

Responsibilities includeeffectively communicating results and ensuring Customersatisfaction. This position also supports cleanroom certificationprojects working under the supervision of a senior technician.

DUTIES 1.

Performs routine certification and repairs of devicesthat contain HEPA filters and cleanrooms at Customer sites. Thisincludes disassembling, replacing, or repairing defective parts;rewiring or reassembling as required; troubleshooting, andadjusting/calibrating by using standard and specialized tools andtest equipment. 2. May perform specialty work such as ASHRAE 110fume hood testing, National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) accreditedcertifications, VHP room decontamination, Environmental Monitoring(EM), or compressed air testing upon successful completion ofoptional internal or external training classes. 3. Utilizescomputer technology to record and upload testing data preferablywhile at the Customer site. Performs administrative duties promptlyas assigned. 4. Follows Customer protocols when entering andexiting facilities and abides by all and Customer Health & Safetyprocedures. Acts as a positive ambassador for at Customer sites. 5.Ensures Customer satisfaction through proactive communication andcommitment to resolving Customer issues and answering questions. 6.Communicates regularly with lead technicians, dispatch, andmanagement regarding any changes to the expected schedule andoutcomes of service visits at Customer sites. 7. Maintains and isresponsible for personal tool and testing equipment inventory. 8.Identifies potential business growth opportunities and communicatesleads to management and sales.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE &SKILLS

Minimum level education required: High School Diploma or GEDMinimum work experience required in addition to education above:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Customer facing position Willwork experience be accepted in lieu of the above?
