Our client serves industries that demand the highest standards of hygiene, traceability, and regulatory compliance—particularly in food-grade packaging.. This role is critical to ensuring that their operations consistently meet SQF Code requirements, customer expectations, and applicable regulatory standards. The SQF Training Coordinator will be highly organized and collaborative, with a strong understanding of GMPs, quality assurance, and employee safety programs. As a key liaison across departments, the SQF Training Coordinator will foster a culture of food safety and workplace safety, driving training, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives. The SQF Training Coordinator, is responsible for establishing strong and effective working relationships with internal and external customers to promote and support positive employee relations, company culture, and employee engagement efforts. This position responsibilities include driving safety initiatives throughout the organization and helping to minimize the risk of job-related incidents/injuries by monitoring operations to eliminate hazardous activities. The SQF Training Coordinator will coordinate all activities related to maintaining any relevant quality and food safety certifications.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

HS Diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 Years of administrative/clerical experience required Safety experience within a Manufacturing environment strongly preferred Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics or packaging. Working knowledge of SQF standards, GMPs, and internal auditing procedures. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must—must be able to clearly convey safety procedures, expectations, and audit findings to employees at all levels. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing floor environments SQF and HACCP certifications preferred_____________________________________________________
