Adecco is hiring immediately for Safety Specialists with our client in Mechanic Falls, ME. Safety Specialists do essential jobs with one of our premier clients, with starting pay at $25.00-$29.00/hr., plus available overtime. As a Safety Specialist, you will support and enforce safety policies and regulations by conducting inspections and assessments, investigating incidents and rmending corrective actions, collaborating with teams to ensure safe practices, developing and delivering training, maintaining records, assisting with emergency planning, and promoting safety awareness. Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in a safety role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable safety standards Effectivemunication and interpersonal skills Certification in First Aid/CPR; OSHA 30-hour or other relevant safety certifications a plus This position will start with 100% of your day being spent on safety but then will transition to 50% safety/50% production
