hours of service regulations. This position requires extensive knowledge around driver logbooks via Omnitracs/Qualcomm. To be successful, the Afterhours Specialist will be analytical, professional, and possess excellent organizational skills. Thriving communication skills is a must with a willingness to help in any situation.

Responsibilities:

Execute strategies to create the best possible relationship with drivers Coordinate and communicate with operations representatives and planners to establish and maintain driver/customer relationships Communicate with the driver fleet to ensure that assigned and planned freight fits the driver for a successful plan Receive information from drivers such as macros, trailer numbers, in and out times etc. and make sure this is properly communicated through Mcleod or the TMS Gulf Relay is currently using Execute strategic improvement plans to support driver goals such as loaded mile goals, working 5-5.5 shifts per week, on time pick-up and delivery, safety and compliance standards, and communication skills Provide a best-in-class support system Execute SOPs Follow up and execute on driver related issues in a timely fashion with best-in-class communication Provide strategic direction and input on all driver and customer related initiatives for the company Always practice best in class safety and planning procedures that are in line with

safety regulations Gulf Relay is looking for: 2+ years in an operations role with a 3PL or asset-based logistics company Proven track record of successful operations tender Ability to make meaningful contributions to the company’s strategic vision Ability to work closely with other departments from time to time to meet company and customer goals Uncompromising integrity in all dealings with company matters Discretion and confidentiality required Performs duties on 2-3 split shifts 12-hour shifts with availability to work on normal holidays
