Position Summary:
Childress Vineyards is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Winery Housekeeper to support the cleanliness and presentation of our facility. This role plays a key part in maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests and staff by ensuring that all public, private, and event spaces are clean, orderly, and presentable.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces Clean and maintain restrooms, tasting rooms, offices, and event spaces throughout the day Empty trash and recycling bins and manage waste according to safety and sanitation standards Restock restroom and cleaning supplies and report inventory needs to the Director of Hospitality Ensure all areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards for winery guests and events Support occasional deep cleaning projects and seasonal tasks Follow all safety guidelines and cleanliness protocols
Other Duties Qualifications:
Prior experience in hospitality, janitorial, or commercial cleaning Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be dependable, professional, and able to follow a routine cleaning schedule Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand, bend, and move for extended periods Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed About Childress Vineyards Founded in 2004 by NASCAR team owner Richard Childress, Childress Vineyards is a premier winery in North Carolina’s Yadkin Valley AVA.
