Experience with food safety protocols would be a plus. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Health & Safety Manager to oversee our organization’s health and safety programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health standards, implementing safety policies, and fostering a culture of safety within the workplace. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management and the ability to conduct thorough investigations into incidents to prevent future occurrences.

$30/hour 1st Shift Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies in compliance with OSHA regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including EPA guidelines. Lead root cause analysis investigations for workplace incidents and develop corrective action plans. Provide training development for employees on health and safety practices, including CPR and emergency response procedures. Manage workers’ compensation claims and ensure proper documentation is maintained. Collaborate with various departments to promote a safe working environment through effective communication and training initiatives. Stay updated on changes in occupational health laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure organizational compliance. Skills Strong knowledge of occupational health principles, workers’ compensation laws, and OSHA regulations. Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions. Experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) management systems. Ability to develop engaging training programs that enhance employee awareness of health and safety practices. Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying safety information to all levels of staff. Capability to fabricate safety equipment or modify existing tools as needed for enhanced safety measures.
