Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Specialist to join our Demolition Division. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for overseeing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations to maintain a secure work environment. Must have experience handling safety responsibilities of Demolition or Site development projects.

Duties:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Conduct safety training programs for employees on topics such as CPR, first aid, and OSHA regulations
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and implement preventive measures
• Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations
• Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and develop solutions
• Maintain records of safety training, incidents, and inspections

Skills:

• Proficiency in training development related to safety protocols
• Certification in CPR and first aid
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation laws and procedures
• Ability to fabricate effective safety solutions
• Experience in conducting root cause analysis for incidents
• Understanding of occupational health standards
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and guidelines
