Overview Our Clinical Occupational Medicine Specialist willassist in business development for occupational health servicesalongside the Occupational Medicine Department.

ROLE &RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides on-site services for occupationalhealth clients including DOT physicals as needed or requested byOccupational Health Clients
  • Provides up to date training fornew members of medical staff statewide
  • Responsible forcompliance with DOT certification requirements across medical staff
  • Participates in meetings/activities as required to supportoperations of Occupational Health
  • Provides urgent care servicesin high demand clinics as needed when other occupational healthduties are fulfilled.
  • Adheres to the service and courtesystandard of Prisma Health Urgent Care by delivering the higheststandard of patient satisfaction at all times.
  • Provides patientcare within the respective clinical area which complies with theProfessional Staff Bylaws, rules and regulations and Prisma HealthUrgent Care policies and procedures.
  • Provides and/or serves asa resource for patient/family and staff education.
EDUCATIONALREQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced degree from an accreditedNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program of study LicensedNurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in accordance with the stateof practice 2 Year Experience in urgent care or emergency medicinepreferred. Occupational Medicine experience preferred DOTcertification required Current DEA registration BLS certificationrequired Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forthby Prisma Health Urgent Care Demonstrated ability to communicateeffectively with patients, families and other team members Requiredto travel to other Prisma Health Urgent Care centers as needed tosupport business needs Prisma Health Urgent Care is committed toproviding the highest quality patient and customer care.
