What You Will Do:

Provides oversight, coaching, advice, technical expertise andtraining on safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, constructionand operational work methods Act as a first responder to safety incidents andgather/evaluate accident data Conduct root cause analysis of safety incidents and recommendpreventative actions Identify potential safety risks and implement correctivemeasures Perform safety inspections and monitor and evaluate workpractices to ensure compliance with all OSHA, regulatory andcompany safety policies and programs Maintain awareness of governmental regulations and policiesthat may impact company operations Test, research and recommend new tools, systems and equipment,and ensures compliance with technical specifications Develop, implement, and conduct safety, ergonomics andindustrial hygiene training and presentations May administer public safety programs for internal and externalpartners such as first responders, contractors and schools Assists in the development of Accident Prevention Manuals, andtechnical training programs and materials Provide expert advice and solutions to peers, customers andco-workers Work closely with managers, supervisors, safety committees andother colleagues to develop risk reduction plans and supports othersafety initiatives Investigate third party safety incidents, often working closelywith the claims department and regulators Identify, evaluate, and control chemical exposures in theworkplace, and perform other industrial hygiene related activitiessuch as coordinating hearing conversation, respirator and medicalsurveillance programs

Who You Are:

5+ years of directly related experience with a Bachelorsdegree 7+ years of directly related experience with an Associatesdegree 9+ years of directly related experience with a High Schooldiploma/GED A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record thatwill be verified upon hire You can: Show a solid understanding of applicable safety and fireprotection regulations and requirements along with technicalexpertise in an applicable job specific area Offer strong planning, organizational, analytical and computerskills while also demonstrating the ability to performaccident/incident investigations You are: An excellent written and verbal communicator with strong publicspeaking, interpersonal, coaching and presentation skills Knowledgeable of applicable hazardous material/chemicalmanagement and transportation in addition to industrial hygienesampling and surveying techniques The following are considered assets: A bachelors degree in a related field such as: IndustrialHygiene, Safety, Occupational Safety, EngineeringBackground Certification in one or more of the following subject areas:

Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, orProfessional Engineer Knowledge of hazardous material/chemical management andtransportation Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to): Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing,sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detectcolor coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the abilityto sit at a computer for long periods of time. Mental Requirements (Both field & office) include but are notlimited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or writteninstructions or other information, understand complex problems andcollaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts andideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize workschedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderateimpact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside thisarea, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines,complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda andbasic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Working Conditions:

Work performed in office environment 50% of the time withtravel to field locations up to 20%. Will be exposed to theelements such as: cold, heat, dust, fumes, loud noises, 50% of thetime. At Enbridge, we are dedicated to our core value of Inclusion.
