IMMEDIATE OPENING

for an on-site construction safety professional to perform safety oversight in the Albany, NY area. 1) Monitor daily operations to ensure client and OSHA safety policies and procedures are being adhered too. Site Behavior Observations for compliance and assisting client. Office time to support the project. 2) Assist with daily/weekly required reporting. 3) Assist with writing daily Pre-Task Plans and Job Hazard Analysis. 4) Work closely with the Project Foreman so the safety needs for upcoming work tasks are anticipated and completed safely. Reviewing upcoming and planned work to determine the safety equipment and procedural needs are available prior to the work and to confirm equipment and procedures are available. 5) Assist Project Foreman in preparing and delivering the daily tailboard meeting/pre-job brief. Ensure tailboard meetings are efficient and completed to cover the expected work tasks for the day. Ensure the attendees are engaged in the process. 6) Participate in tailboard meeting with all contractors and its subcontractors. Periodic monitoring of subcontractors tailboards/pre-job briefs to ensure they are adequate and in compliance.
