Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm $19.28-23.45 depending on experience Administer the Lineage Safety Program to ensure a safe, controlled, and risk-free environment while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Promote a safety culture with the goal of achieving an incident-free work environment. Key Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with leadership to refine safety and food safety processes and procedures in preparation for internal and external audits (e.g., OSHA, FDA, USDA). Support operations in resolving facility, food handling, and customer compliance issues, ensuring adherence to both safety and food safety standards. Lead thorough investigations of workplace accidents or food safety incidents and ensure corrective actions are communicated and implemented. Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify risks related to both physical safety and food safety protocols (e.g., sanitation, temperature logs, contamination prevention). Lead team meetings and toolbox talks to communicate updates to safety and food safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Monitor warehouse safety and food-grade sanitation supplies; coordinate with operations for timely replenishment. Maintain accurate and detailed recordkeeping systems, including incident logs, temperature logs, training records, and audit findings. Assist in preparing for and participating in regulatory and third-party audits involving workplace and food safety. Collaborate with Quality Assurance or Food Safety teams to align safety procedures with corporate and client standards. Additional Duties and Responsibilities Conduct new hire orientations covering both general safety and food safety practices. Attend and participate in ongoing training sessions and industry-specific safety workshops as required. Provide mentorship and guidance to employees on daily safety and food safety best practices. Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) High School diploma or GED required; additional food safety certifications (e.g., HACCP, ServSafe) preferred. 2+ years of experience in a safety compliance or food safety-related role, preferably in a cold storage, logistics, or food distribution environment. Solid understanding of national safety regulations, food safety standards, and compliance bodies (OSHA, FDA, USDA, GFSI, etc.). Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and digital recordkeeping tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train, lead, and engage staff at all levels. Able to work in extreme temperatures (cold storage: as low as -20°F; dry storage: up to 100°F) while wearing required PPE. Comfortable in environments with varying noise levels, machinery, and fast-paced logistics operations.

Pay Range:
