EHS Coordinator Position Available In Chautauqua, New York

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment by implementing safety programs, conducting training, and monitoring compliance with safety regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of occupational health and safety standards, as well as the ability to effectively communicate safety protocols to employees. Duties Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations and EHS standards. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents, including investigations and recommendations for corrective actions. Provide training on first aid, CPR, and other safety protocols to employees at all levels. Collaborate with management to develop strategies for reducing workplace injuries and improving overall safety culture. Stay updated on changes in OSHA regulations, EPA guidelines, and workers’ compensation laws to ensure organizational compliance. Assist in the fabrication of safety equipment or modifications as necessary to enhance workplace safety. Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and concerns within the organization. Requirements Proven experience in a safety coordinator role or similar position within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EHS regulations, and workers’ compensation law. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to document incidents clearly and concisely. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications related to occupational health are preferred. Ability to analyze data related to workplace injuries and develop actionable plans for improvement. Strong communication skills with the ability to train employees on safety practices effectively.
