Full Job Description Compensation Range:

$75,000•$87,500 yearly commensurate with experience

Overview:

The Supportive and Affordable Housing Safety and Security Coordinator (“the Safety and Security Coordinator”) represents the Supportive and Affordable Housing Department (The “Department”) at monthly and emergency agencywide safety and security meetings and disseminates relevant updates to the department staff as appropriate. The Safety and Security Coordinator provides technical and crisis support for the Department’s Residential Aide staff and provides regular training to the Department’s staff.

Responsibilities:

Disseminates information provided by Housing Works’ Safety and Security unit to the Department to ensure understanding and compliance. Creates and updates the Department’s Safety and Security Policies and Procedures Manual. Supervise the Department’s Residential Aide Supervisors. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED required, and bachelor’s degree preferred. At least five years of work experience as a Residential Aide, including three years as a Residential Aide Supervisor Job candidates should be aware that scammers may pose as employers and create fake job postings in order to extract personal information from individuals for financial gain.
