Supervises security details and uses properjudgment and discretion to resolve student and staff issues andconcerns. Conducts investigations of accidents and incidents withthe goal of resolution and reduction of future occurrences.

Security Coordinator Responsibility Include:

Assists Safety &Security Department maintain a safe and secure Center environment.

Compiles, analyzes and summarizes safety/security data and takesappropriate actions to resolve issues and concerns. Coordinatesstaff coverage to ensure student areas are supervised. Conducts anddocuments incident and accident investigations per establishedtimelines and requirements. Conducts routine safety inspections andassessments of all Center equipment and facilities to identifypotential safety and security hazards. Responsible for Centersecurity, visitor control and student accountability. Works inpartnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effectivesupervision and services are provided to students. Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalentrequired. A minimum of one-year experience in military, lawenforcement or security required.
