Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator Park Personnel Services Inc Glens Falls, NY 12801 Job Summary The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager plays a critical role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. This position is responsible for implementing, and overseeing EHS programs that adhere to regulatory standards and promote a culture of safety within the organization. The EHS Manager will collaborate with various departments to identify risks, provide training, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations. Responsibilities Implement comprehensive EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Provide training development for employees on EHS topics including CPR, first aid, occupational health, and safety protocols. Manage workers’ compensation claims and ensure compliance with workers’ compensation law. Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety through effective communication and training initiatives. Stay informed about changes in regulations related to EHS practices, including EPA and OSHA guidelines. Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures. Assist in preparing safety reports and record-keeping (300 Summary Form) Qualifications Associate’s Degree or related training and experience Proven experience in an EHS role or similar capacity within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA guidelines, and workers’ compensation law. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train employees at all levels. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for conducting audits and inspections. Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a focus on safety objectives. This position requires a proactive approach to managing environmental health and safety initiatives while fostering a safe workplace culture.

$30.00 – $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
