Contract | Supporting the Pennsylvania State Police Abel Personnel is hiring on behalf of our public sector client for an Apprentice-Level Health and Safety Consultant to support safety programs for the Pennsylvania State Police . This hybrid opportunity includes time on-site at headquarters, remote work, and travel to various worksites across the state. This is an ideal role for an early-career professional looking to grow in the occupational safety field while contributing to a mission-driven organization. The position includes hands-on learning, structured responsibilities, and support from seasoned safety personnel. Key Responsibilities Deliver health and safety training both in person and virtually Conduct safety assessments and AIPP audits Analyze injury and illness data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions Support regulatory compliance and contribute to a strong safety culture Collaborate effectively with personnel at all levels Travel to assigned worksites as needed (must have reliable personal transportation) What You Need to Succeed in This Role One of the following: An AIPP certification with less than two years of occupational safety experience An AIPP certification with two or more years of occupational safety experience At least two years of occupational safety experience and currently pursuing AIPP certification Learn more about AIPP certification requirements: PA AIPP Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Why Abel Personnel?
