Safety Director Job Description The Safety Director is responsible for managing and performing daily safety responsibilities for specific projects, ensuring compliance with Federal Safety requirements. Responsibilities Manage and perform daily safety responsibilities for specific projects. The safety director will work directly with foreman, superintendents and project managers to ensure the highest safety standards are met Ensure projects are constructed in compliance with Safety requirements. Essential Skills Experience in construction management and site safety. OSHA 500 and 510 Certification desired Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively 5+ years of experience in construction Additional Skills & Qualifications Construction-related degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience with a construction degree, or 10+ years without a degree.
