This role isresponsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable HSElegislation, implementing initiatives to improve safetyperformance, and maintaining the company’s Quality ManagementSystem (QMS) in alignment with
ISO 9001
2015 standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce health and safety strategies, policies, andprocedures Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliancewith OSHA and internal standards Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and auditfindings Advise senior leadership on safety-related risks, incidents, andimprovements Assist with internal investigations, hazard assessments, and riskmitigation Coordinate and deliver training programs related to safety andquality Maintain and manage ISO 18001 and
ISO 9001
systems, includingpreparing for and managing audits Develop and monitor quality standards, procedures, and continuousimprovement objectives Ensure sub-contractor safety programs meet company and regulatoryrequirements Lead the creation and communication of safety reports, bulletins,and management review documentation Stay current on industry regulations and legislative changesrelated to safety and quality Oversee safety technicians and support cross-functional businessunits with safety and quality compliance
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience OSHA 30-Construction certification required 5+ years of experience in a Safety Manager role within a similarindustrial environment Certified internal or lead auditor for ISO 18001 and
ISO 9001
Experience with root cause analysis, safety program development,and regulatory compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel 100% ofthe time
Work Environment:
This role involves frequent travel and exposure to varied workingenvironments, including indoor and outdoor industrial job sites.
