This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable HSE legislation, implementing initiatives to improve safety performance, and maintaining the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with
ISO 9001
2015 standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce health and safety strategies, policies, and procedures Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and internal standards Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and audit findings Advise senior leadership on safety-related risks, incidents, and improvements Assist with internal investigations, hazard assessments, and risk mitigation Coordinate and deliver training programs related to safety and quality Maintain and manage ISO 18001 and
ISO 9001
systems, including preparing for and managing audits Develop and monitor quality standards, procedures, and continuous improvement objectives Ensure sub-contractor safety programs meet company and regulatory requirements Lead the creation and communication of safety reports, bulletins, and management review documentation Stay current on industry regulations and legislative changes related to safety and quality Oversee safety technicians and support cross-functional business units with safety and quality compliance
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience OSHA 30-Construction certification required 5+ years of experience in a Safety Manager role within a similar industrial environment Certified internal or lead auditor for ISO 18001 and
ISO 9001
Experience with root cause analysis, safety program development, and regulatory compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel 100% of the time
Work Environment:
This role involves frequent travel and exposure to varied working environments, including indoor and outdoor industrial sites.
