Environmental Health & Safety Professional EnSafe United States, Tennessee, Knoxville 308 North Peters Road (Show on map) Jun 23, 2025 EnSafe is seeking a Part-Time Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Professional to support our clients onsite at facilities near Knoxville, Tennessee. This position will offer 10-12 hours per week, as needed. EnSafe is an employee-owned global environmental consulting and engineering firm. We strive to provide cutting-edge, creative solutions for our clients. EnSafe specializes in custom solutions in Environmental Management and Planning, Civil Design Engineering, Environmental Restoration, Natural & Water Resources, Health & Safety, and Technology, with offices in the U.S.
What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a Health and Safety (H&S) professional with a demonstrated record in managing and consulting comprehensive H&S programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying workplace hazards and job safety risks, as well as conducting thorough investigations into incidents and near-miss events. This individual should be adept at developing and implementing safety programs and procedures, delivering practical team training, and preparing detailed reports that incorporate key metrics and track progress over time. The role requires the ability to host briefings and updates across all organizational levels, including leadership and frontline teams.
What You Will Be Doing:
Providing consulting advice to industrial and commercial companies, including aerospace, chemicals, manufacturing, pulp, paper, and automotive manufacturing facilities.
Conducting safety and health compliance audits, hazard and risk assessments, quantitative and qualitative industrial hygiene, and EHS training.
Providing professional consulting services relating to health and safety management systems (OSHA
VPP, ISO 45001
), process safety management, confined space, machine guarding, lockout tagout, and others
What You Will Need:
B.S. degree in environmental health, safety, or related discipline
20 or more years of related experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong work ethic
Initiative, attention to detail, analytical thinking, accountability, and commitment to quality and accuracy.
