Kitchen / Extinguisher Technician Atlas Fire Protection Riceville, TN 37370 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in extinguishers, kitchen systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various power tools. This role involves ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems through inspection, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The technician will play a crucial role in enhancing fire safety measures for our clients. Responsibilities Inspect, install, and maintain kitchen suppression systems in accordance with manufacture design and NFPA standards. Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire extinguishers & kitchen systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with clients to assess their fire protection needs and provide expert recommendations on fire safety equipment. Provide field service support as a service technician, ensuring timely responses to service requests. Maintain accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and deficiencies. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in fire safety technology. Qualifications Proven experience in fire extinguisher and kitchen systems installation and maintenance is preferred. Strong understanding of NFPA regulations related to fire safety. Proficiency in using power tools. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to detect issues quickly and implement effective solutions. Excellent communication skills for client interactions and teamwork. Previous experience is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
