Safety Coordinator 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 4048 Luke Court, Murfreesboro, TN 37128 We have an exciting career opportunity to assist with the administration of the Company’s safety programs. This newly created position holds an interesting combination of office and fieldwork and is available as a direct result of the company’s ongoing growth.
Job Duties:
Assist the Safety Manager in conducting comprehensive safety inspections at our apartment communities. Periodic out of state, overnight travel is required. Prepare and file monthly reports outlining safety inspections, including lighting, fire prevention, PPE, SDS, MMP, and vehicles including golf carts. Address safety issues in a timely manner. Communicate with company personnel regarding safety protocols, inspections, and remediation. Promote safety awareness through internal company training programs, memoranda, and newsletters. Participate in weekly safety meetings. Interact with regulatory agencies, insurance representatives, consultants, fire department personnel, contractors, and vendors.
Qualifications:
Previous experience with safety inspections and processing insurance claims preferred. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work independently and in teams. Professional verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to collaborate with employees at every level within the organization. Proficient in safety management software and tools.
