We are looking for a Specialist with experience within EHS. A Specialist with a focus on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) plays a crucial role in ensuring workplace compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a culture of well-being. This involves developing and implementing EHS policies, conducting risk assessments, and organizing safety training for employees. The specialist collaborates with our EHS leaders to investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and ensure alignment with local and national safety standards. Additionally, they monitor workplace conditions, promote initiatives that reduce hazards, and maintain records to track safety performance and continuous improvement. Development of safety and environmental training material and training for all employees including managers
Lead accident investigation ensuring all documentation completed in a timely manner
Management of worker compensation claims
Maintaining facilities safety and environmental signage
Responsible for participating in the company’s 5s program
Provides informative, signs, posters, barrier and other materials
Represents the organization in community or industry safety groups and programs
To warn of potential and actual safety hazards and to prevent access to hazardous condition
